01 – The Brigadoon

If I was younger I would go
to a place that I used to know.
In the hills of North Carolina
me and my friends had it all.

Soon as school let out we’d rush off like the wind
day in and out we’d do it all over again.
We’d load them bikes in our trucks side-by-side
so we could get out there in that Brigadoon and ride.

Ride well that just what we did when we were kids
man we couldn’t get enough.
Fly all up through them hills for priceless thrills
man we sure thought we were tough…
out there in that Brigadoon.

Couple of bucks would keep us riding all afternoon
cause gas was cheap, left us money for smokes and some moutain dew.
Unload them bikes, kick em on, let em run
Jeffrey’d have one rolled up for us fore we begun.

Rodeo here go come on let’s ride
hit that powerband man i’ll be outa sight.
There’s the track up ahead come on let’s race
can’t see a thing from all the mud up in my face.

Ride well thats just what we did when we were kids
man we couldn’t get enough.
Fly all up through them hills for priceless thrills
man we sure thought we were tough…
out there in that Brigadoon.
